FO Friday

Hello again! Wow, it has been a hectic couple of weeks. I moved down to Athens two Sundays ago, and then I was in RA Orientation all week, which resulted in a lack of posting. It's move in weekend right now, and after having trouble with both my wireless and wire internet connection, I finally have time to post and tell you all that I'm working on. I'm super excited about it!

I joined this new group on Ravelry called Knit Dishcloth KAL, and twice a month this group does mystery knit-a-longs. I joined for the most recent one, and this is what it made. The dishcloth is super cute and worked up very quickly. If you would like to see more pictures and my notes for the pattern, you can click the caption to check out my Ravelry page.

I also made these.

Following the tutorial linked to in the caption, I made Popsicle themed door decs for my residents. The Popsicles you see are for my staff, but I ended up making a little under 50 total. I made the bite marks with a special scrapbooking, flower shaped hole punch.

If you would like to see more finished objects, check out Tami's Amis!

    1. Oh, Melissa! This comment just made my day! I'm in the process of making another one, just with a seed stitch border.

And it's super fun that it's a mystery. I didn't even know that was a thing until she told me. It's great stash busting though! :)

    1. Aww, thanks! That's what one of my staff members said. So now I'm making her one in pink! Haha.

  3. great use of the scrabooking punch.

I've not ever made a dishcloth, I don't like the idea of my precious knitting being used for dirty dishes!

Yours is lovely, I like the pattern.
