Oh my goodness. Jenn is posting on a Wednesday again! It's exciting isn't it? Well, at least I'm excited!
One of my classes this semester is a Creative Writing Poetry class, and one of the books we need to read is Opened Ground. It's a collection of poems by Seamus Heaney. We haven't read a lot of it so far, but I really like what I have read.
I'm also doing a mystery dishcloth KAL with Knit Dishcloths KALs on Ravelry. Since this is the first one of the month, it is just a simple stockinet/reverse stockinet picture dishcloth. A few rows of the pattern appear every day until it is completed. Today is day 3, and it should be done on Friday. I can't wait to show you guys the finished object!
If you would like to see more WIPs check out Tami's Amis and Ginny's!
Until next time!
Jenn
When I was in college, the creative writing classes were my favorite!
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty awesome class.
DeleteThat dishcloth KAL sounds like fun, too bad I crochet.
ReplyDeleteIf you're interested, I have a giveaway for a custom dyed skein of yarn going on right now!

Thanks! And thanks for telling me about the giveaway. I entered it. :)
DeleteYour dish cloth is looking great so far. I cannot wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't wait to see what it is. :)
DeleteJenn, Enjoy your classes; poetry was never my thing (just don't get most of it -- and that's ok), but I do like some. I really do like the yarn color you're using; is the photo accurate? Sometimes photos can be deceiving when it comes to colors...
ReplyDeleteHappy studying! ~Lisa
I got the yarn color to be as accurate as I could by adjusting the light settings on my camera. Of the Lily's Sugar 'n Cream denim colors, it is the darker one.
DeleteThanks! :)
hmmm... dont' have a guess on the dishcloth. guess i'll just have to wait until you post the finished project!
ReplyDeleteIt was a Yoga-Bow Pose dishcloth. Although I'm sure you figured that out already. :)
