A Long Overdue Present
I finished my little pig on Wednesday! My friend Stacie bought me the yarn last fall so I could make her a pair of gloves. She was even going to let me keep the leftovers! But realistically I will never make another pair of those gloves, so part way through making this little guy, I thought "I'll give him to Stacie!" She loves him so much. And her birthday is actually tomorrow. I'm so excited for her. My notes and more pictures can be found on my Ravelry page, linked to in the caption.
If you would like to see more finished objects, head on over to Tami's Amis!

I am determined to keep practicing this, but I can't spell it, pronounce it..what makes me think I'll succeed in crafting it! Love the pig!
ReplyDeleteIt's pronounced like ahh (like the noise you make when you go to the dentist and they say "Open wide!") me grr (like a fake growl) oo (like kangar"oo") me.
DeleteAh-me-grr-oo-me. Amigurumi. Lol.
Lion Brand also has a taller pig pattern as well if you wanted to try that one instead. :)
So one of these days I'm going to have to try making an Amigurumi animal -- yours always turn out so cute!
