Little Steps Go a Long Way

Hey guys!

I don't have many FOs to share with you think week, but I wanted to show you a few things.


I made this coffee sleeve back in December, but I just got around to taking photos of it right now. It is the same pattern as the first coffee sleeve I made, and I still love the pattern just as much. I've discovered that I cannot use a knitted coffee sleeve while wearing the mittens my sister made me for Christmas however. I greatly fear dropping my coffee because of the yarn-on-yarn contact, and have to use both hands or take off a mitten. Oh well! Even small steps toward a greener life makes a huge difference in the long run, right?


I also made new door tags for my residents this semester. They're keys, and I love them.

    I love the coffee cosy. I always mean to make one for me but I can't seem to find one I like. The key door decs are adorable.

      Thanks! My residents are guys, so it took me a long time to decide on something that wouldn't be "too girly" for them. I did however use glitter puffy paint. They can't take all my fun!

    I love my knitted coffee cup sleeves. They do a great job of keeping the coffee warm and it's one less piece of cardboard that I end up throwing away! Your version is cute and I think I will make one. I like to give them to friends to use also.

    I made some knitted coffee sleeves for some friends. They LOVE them. Simple but effective!

      I definitely second that notion. The pattern I used is especially simple. It is a great way to just whip them out.
